Non-perishable food is collected weekly for the food pantries in our two sharing parishes - St. Martin de Porres and Our Lady Gate of Heaven - as well as Santa Maria Addolorata, Oak Park Food Pantry, Vital Bridges, and Community Response.
Donated items are placed at the St. Giles Shrine. Volunteer drivers deliver the food each week. Each driver is called upon about once every 2 months.

Next Food Collections for the Needy
VITAL BRIDGES
Let us show our love and compassion for our brothers and sisters who have become ill due to the Aids Virus. Vital Bridges provides food for the 2500 people they serve. Without our contributions this would not happen.
Please remember to drop off food and paper products to the St. Giles Shrine next weekend, January 3rd and 4th. Let us begin our New Year by following the path Jesus has shown us.

FOOD COLLECTION FOR THE NEEDY
The weekly list of food items that are collected at the St. Giles Shrine for delivery to the food pantries we serve, and the names of our faithful delivery drivers, will begin again next week.
However, if you have food items ready to drop off at the St. Giles Shrine, please do so and they will be added to the January 13th and 14th delivery.
If you would like to volunteer as a driver, please call the Parish Office at 708-383-3430 and leave your name.
